New process for Fall 2022 for graduate students taking less than 6 credit hours wanting to enroll in coverage!
Students must first complete the Insurance Requirement under Catalyst, Tasks, and then complete an enrollment form for the semester in which they are requesting coverage, and email it to studins@ucmail.uc.edu by the 15th day of the term.

Create your Student Health Insurance account
Manage
your account online through United Healthcare Student Resources. Get
access to claims status, EOBs, network providers, correspondence and coverage
information by logging into My
Account. If you do not have an account, you can create
one by using your 7 digit insurance ID number, and clicking on Create Account.
University
Health Services on Campus
Primary
care, including women's health, medically necessary lab work, and x-ray through
UHS is covered at no additional cost when utilizing your student health
insurance benefits. In addition, mental health visits are covered at a $0
co-insurance for most services. There is also a pharmacy
on campus where you can receive prescriptions at a reduced rate.
TeleHealth Services by Healthiest You
Starting the effective date of your policy, you have 24/7 access to medical advice through HealthiestYou, a national telehealth service. Call 1-855-870-5858 or visit HealthiestYou to get access
to a board-certified physician via phone and/or video, where permitted.

COVID-19
Member
cost-sharing will be waived, including copays, coinsurance and deductibles, for
COVID-19 diagnostic testing provided at approved locations in accordance
with CDC guidelines.
Any
referral provision will be waived for COVID-19 tests and/or treatment. In the
event a claim is denied for no referral, it can be appealed for
reconsideration.
All
other treatment will be paid according to the benefits of your policy.
UHC
is encouraging members to take advantage of the Virtual Visit capability,
available through the HealthiestYou mobile app. UHCSR insureds have access at
no charge, when it’s included with their UHCSR medical plan. For more

Optum
is opening its Emotional-Support Help Line, providing access to specially
trained mental health specialists to support people who may be experiencing
anxiety or stress following the recent developments around COVID-19. Optum’s
toll-free help line number, 866-342-6892, will be open 24 hours a day, seven
days a week, for as long as necessary.
