Virtual Tour 2020

Welcome to the virtual tour of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at University of Cincinnati. We hosted a live tour on 12/18/2020 led by our resident trainees which provides an insight into the well-organized, well equipped, and vast laboratory space. It reflects the strong infrastructure and the work culture within our department.

The tour begins with an overview of our Anatomic pathology/Surgical Pathology Lab. Dr Gilday walks us through the key areas of this lab including Grossing area, sign out area with a library and the Resident room. This is followed by Clinical Lab/Core Lab space tour by Dr. Shelat, Microbiology Lab tour by Dr. Velagapudi, Morgue Tour by Dr. Ahmed followed by a tour of Conference room and precision medicine lab By Dr. Huang. The tour is concluded by a Q&A session between residents and candidates. The entire session is coordinated by Ms. Carolyn Egbert.
