We recognize the impact of mental health on physical health, retention in academic programs, and forging healthy ways of living for years to come. It is our pleasure to serve students during this exciting and challenging time of life.

What We Do

Student life at the University of Cincinnati may be stressful. It is not uncommon for students to experience conflicts, difficulties, and mental illnesses that interfere with their ability to fully function both academically and in social relationships.  Mental health services—individual psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management—are available by appointment.

To access ADHD testing in the Cincinnati community, please visit your insurance provider’s website to find information about your specific plan coverage and a list of in-network providers in the Cincinnati area who specialize in psychoeducational or ADHD/LD assessment.

UHS Mental Health provides professional, confidential mental health services for UC students. We work actively with our clinical and campus partners to ensure that we are address your needs from a bio-psycho-social perspective, treating “the whole you.”
