Utilizing a holistic approach to treatment, we work collaboratively with primary care and psychiatry providers, as well as our University of Cincinnati campus partners, to meet the ever-changing mental health needs of college students in all phases of their educational careers. We recognize the impact of mental health on physical health, retention in academic programs, and forging healthy ways of living for years to come. What We Do
Student life at the University of Cincinnati may be stressful. It is not uncommon for students to experience conflicts, difficulties, and mental illnesses that interfere with their ability to fully function both academically and in social relationships. Mental health services—individual psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management—are available by appointment.
At this time, we are not offering ADHD/LD testing services in compliance with UHS clinic public health and safety standards. To access ADHD testing in the Cincinnati community, please visit your insurance provider’s website to find information about your specific plan coverage and a list of in-network providers in the Cincinnati area who specialize in psychoeducational or ADHD/LD assessment.

If you have UC’s Student Health Insurance, your visit with a physician/nurse practitioner is covered under your plan with no copay. Out-of-pocket costs for physician visits for students with private insurance, or who elect to self-pay for our services will vary depending on your plans coverage, co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
