Undergraduate Certificate in Clinical and Translational Science

The certificate is geared towards current UC undergraduate students interested in pursuing clinical research careers. Graduates from the Certificate will obtain the skills and knowledge needed to work as a clinical research professional (CRP) after graduation. Topics covered include:

MEDS 3099 Healthcare Exploration through Patient Care* | 3 cr
MEDS 3110 Introduction to Clinical & Translational Science | 3 cr 
MEDS 3111 Fundamentals of Clinical Trials | 3 cr 
MEDS 3112 Team-based Clinical & Translational Science* | 3 cr 

* Course requirements include a 12 hour per week, in-person paid internship
