Congratulations on your admissions into the College of Medicine! We hope you are as excited as we are to have you join our family. We foster a climate of community, collaboration, and service. The College of Medicine is here to help you write the next chapter of your life. With our one-on-one Advising, mentor program and, experiential learning opportunities, we are confident we can help you succeed in your goals. We hope to give you important information on your next steps in the process.
Visit and Confirm your Admission by May 1st.Check out our visit options for Admitted and Confirmed students further down on this page. We know this can be a big decision for you to make. Take your time. Students have until May 1st to confirm their admissions. We encourage you to check out our in-person and virtual options to help you get a better sense of what the College of Medicine is all about.
If you have any questions about Advanced Placement (AP), CLEP, IB, and things like that, please take a look at our Credit Evaluation website for the most up to date information.
Apply for housing. If you are sure you plan to live on campus this fall, we encourage you to submit your housing application as soon as possible. Typically the university evaluates housing capacity in early May at which point we may need to start a waitlist. Please note that students must confirm their admission prior to applying for housing.
Register for Orientation. Orientation is a huge part of your transition to the College of Medicine. Make sure to check your e-mail and the Orientation website for updates about your Orientation sessions.
We will also be hosting admitted and confirmed student sessions so students can learn more about the College of Medicine. Please visit your student portal to learn more information on available dates and times.

College of Medicine Admitted Bearcat Days
The College of Medicine will be hosting Admitted Bearcat Days beginning in February all the way until April. These events allow for admitted and confirmed students to learn more in-depth information about the College of Medicine programs, faculty and staff, curriculum, students, and much more. During each session, students will have the opportunity to talk with current students and ask about their experiences. Please check your student portal for available dates and times.
Regarding graduates of our program, many students and parents often ask, "Where are they going?" or "Where are they now?" Our students pursue many fields within the healthcare field. Here is a list of professional schools that our students have been accepted to over recent years.
