Fellowship Preparation and Mentorship

luckett_keith_white_coatIf you are interested in pursuing a fellowship you will meet with Dr. Keith Luckett to review steps to put you on the correct path. He will assist you in selecting a mentor in your chosen field. You will review a “timeline for success” and necessary next steps in your journey.

During your 2nd year, you will have periodic meetings with Dr. Luckett to ensure that your journey is moving forward as planned. He will assist in planning for the application process, discuss CV building, and ensure a blossoming relationship with your primary faculty mentor. The role of the faculty mentor is to provide advice in selecting high value rotations and experiences, offer career guidance specific to your desired field, and assist in your scholarly activities.

You will be aided in assessing your qualifications and forming an action plan to improve your application strength, with the ultimate goal of acquiring your desired fellowship. CV and personal statement reviews are available and encouraged for all interested.
