Healthy Cooking for Cancer Prevention and Recurrence: Teaching Kitchen Event

Join us on November 2, 2022 6-8 PM for a presentation on Healthy Cooking for Cancer Prevention and Recurrence with farm-fresh foods by Dr. Mladen Golubic and a cooking demonstration by Chef Katy at Turner Farm in Indian Hill. This event includes a hands-on kitchen experience and healthy meal. This teaching kitchen event is open to all, including patients with cancer and cancer survivors who are looking to reduce risk of disease progression or recurrence, as well as other individuals who are interested in primary prevention of cancer.

Mladen Golubic, MD, PHD, serves as the Medical Director for the Osher Center for Integrative Health at UC and is an exceptional leader in the fields of lifestyle and integrative medicine who brings a wealth of clinical, research and educational experience to UC and UC Health. As an internist, Dr. Golubic has practiced and directed educational and research activities within integrative and lifestyle medicine since 2009 with a group of exceptional lifestyle medicine professionals (dietitians, chefs, yoga instructors, exercise physiologists, meditation teachers, etc.) within the Wellness Institute at the Cleveland Clinic.

He has worked in the fields of immunogenetics and molecular and cancer biology, contributing to the understanding of interactions between the environment and our genes. His clinical work focuses now on lifestyle-related chronic diseases.
