The UC Center for Integrative Health and Wellness (UCIHW) offers a variety of mindfulness and mind-body medicine programming for students, faculty/staff, and others in our community. Students

Mindfulness courses at UC: Medical Sciences courses available for matriculated and non-matriculated students at the University of Cincinnati. Learn more >>

Mind-Body Skills Program: 9-week elective course in mind-body medicine techniques offered at no cost in select UC Colleges. This course is appropriate for all experience levels and is 1 hour per week with recommended but not required homework. Learn more >>

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR): 8-week community course, developed by Dr. Jon Kabat Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, with discounted rate available for students. MBSR teaches evidence-based tools for managing stress, reducing pain, and improving well-being in a supportive group setting. This course is backed by over 50 years of research, and involves 2 hours of class time per week and daily homework. Learn more >>

How to Start a Mindfulness Practice: 5-week community course that introduces the science behind mindfulness and practices to realistically implement into busy daily life, with a discounted rate available for students. This course is 1 hour per week with recommended daily homework. Learn more >>

Mind-Body Skills Training: 3-day Mind-Body Skills Facilitator Training is open to individuals who are interested in bringing the Mind-Body Skills program to their own institutions/departments. A focus on preventive self-care techniques and mindfulness training gives participants tools to manage stress and find balance, ultimately creating a more efficient and effective working and learning environment. Learn more >>

Mindfulness Meditation for Optimal Health: 4-week series for UC Health patients who want to learn mindfulness meditation skills to improve mental resiliency. These series are are offered by diagnosis (e.g., patients with Cancer, Neurology patients). Learn more >>
