Study Abroad in the Medical Sciences

This study abroad course seeks to provide students with a global perspective of medical sciences and cultural diversity.  The course integrates faculty-led programmatic activities throughout the semester with an immersive cross-cultural experience in a foreign country during a semester break.  Each of the in-class activities are designed to familiarize students with material that is relevant to what they will be visiting in the foreign country.  The on-site program at the travel destination will explore the historical challenges of medical science in the host country and merge that experience with exposure to the outstanding art, culture and landmarks for which the host country is renowned. - By Permission Only
