Our project assessed food security and community resource availability in Over the Rhine, with a specific focus on those experiencing housing insecurity or living unsheltered. Many people experienced socioeconomic hardship following the Covid-19 shutdowns, while accessible community resources simultaneously became less available, including access to meals. Through our survey, we discovered that while most patrons of ODB felt they had adequate access to food, the main social determinant currently affecting them was lack of access to stable housing and employment opportunities.
