Overview

Students at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine have numerous opportunities to pursue fields of interest to distinguish themselves in a particular area. These pathways to distinction often offer the opportunity for scholarly endeavors with many of our students presenting at conferences and publishing articles. The college offers several longitudinal electives that begin during the pre-clerkship phase as well as an MD-MPH program. We have a robust longitudinal Medical Students Scholars Program with 16 different areas of concentration. We have summer opportunities for students to get immersed in research. We also have a strong community presence with a structured service learning project as part of the curriculum with the opportunity for continued collaboration with our community partners and transformation to advocacy projects.
