2021 Virtual Meet & Greet
Our program is hosting a virtual meet & greet for interested applicants on Wed, Sept 15, 2021, at 8:00 pm EST. Dermatology residents, the program director, Dr. Alan Fleischer, and the Department Chair, Dr. Brian Adams, will be participating. It will be an opportunity to learn more about our program, our residents and faculty, and life in Cincinnati. Applicants are welcome to submit questions/topics of interest in advance to the program coordinator at email@example.com.
For the meeting links and access code, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
How to Apply
The UC Department of Dermatology will offer four PGY2 residency positions for the training year beginning July 1, 2023 through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). All applications should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications received outside of ERAS will not be accepted.
An application will be considered complete when all required documents are uploaded into ERAS.
ERAS application materials must include:
- Curriculum vitae
- Personal statement
- USMLE scores
- Dean's Letter
- 3 recommendation letters (minimum of 3 letters required; additional letters accepted if applicant chooses)
- ECFMG certificate for foreign medical graduates
For the 2022 ERAS® cycle, our program will be participating in the supplemental ERAS application offered through the AAMC’s ERAS program. Applicants will be required to complete the MyERAS application, and participation in the supplemental ERAS application is optional.
The supplemental ERAS application will be delivered on a survey platform that is separate from the MyERAS application. Please refer to the supplemental ERAS application section of the AAMC website for the latest information, FAQs, and resources: https://students-residents.aamc.org/applying-residencies-eras/supplementalerasapplication
If you are an international medical graduate, please contact your local Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) office for more information on ERAS.
The deadline for receipt of all materials is October 31, 2021. Applications that are not complete by this date will not be considered. Review of complete applications will begin in October. All applicants are notified following review of the complete application.
Interviews are by invitation only. Interview dates are Thursdays, Jan 27 and Feb 10, 2022. Interviews will be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We anticipate sending invitations in two rounds near the end of Dec and early Jan.
