Pharmacy Students

The Student-Run Free Clinic (SRFC) relies on student volunteers to operate. Please sign up HERE after reading volunteer eligibility and responsibilities.

Eligibility

To volunteer at SRFC, you must:

• Be a current pharmacy student at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy 
• Be able to be present for full clinic day
  • Arrive at 8:30 a.m. at the Healing Center and stay through 12:00 p.m.
• Be willing to sign a waiver
• Adhere to safety guidelines, including appropriate use of PPE and physical distancing while in the clinic

Responsibilities

As a volunteer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting pharmacy-focused patient interviews (medication history collection, evaluating medication problems, etc.)
• Physical examination of patients (blood pressure, blood sugar, etc.)
• Clinical presentations to pharmacy preceptors
• Engaging with pharmacy preceptors to manage OTC med distribution
• Charting of patient encounters
• Set-up of patient exam rooms
