Medical Students

The Student-Run Free Clinic (SRFC) relies on student volunteers to operate. Please sign up HERE after reading volunteer eligibility and responsibilities.

Eligibility

To volunteer at SRFC, you must:

• Be a current medical student at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
• Be present for a full clinic day

  Arrive at 8:30 a.m. at the Healing Center and stay through 12:00 p.m. 

• Be willing to sign a waiver
• Adhere to safety guidelines, including appropriate use of PPE and physical distancing while in the clinic
• Attend a cultural humility training session

Responsibilities

As a volunteer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Physical examination of scheduled patients
• Clinical presentations to faculty/resident preceptors
• Charting of patient encounters
• Engaging with patient population at Healing Center
• Set-up of patient exam rooms
