A variety of training opportunities and events are offered regularly through the Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST). The mission of the CCTST is to accelerate the development, dissemination, and implementation of innovative biomedical research discoveries that drive improvements in health and health care delivery. Established in 2005, the CCTST is a vital support for clinical and translational research and training for the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Children’s and the greater Cincinnati community.

The UC Cancer Center offers a variety of events and training opportunities throughout the year to raise awareness of cancer research and provide support to those impacted by cancer.
At various points througout the year, compass invites junior faculty and postdocs in the United States who lead, or plan to lead, a lab or research team to apply. Those who are from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. Compass is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and is free of charge for the duration of the grant. There is no cost to participate.
Compass scholars learn remotely via a collaborative online learning platform, live virtual sessions with experienced mentors, and peer mentoring teams.
Open enrollment typically occurs prior to the Spring and Fall semesters.
