Community Advisory Board
The University of Cincinnati Cancer Center’s Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a comprehensive group of community stakeholders who inform and advise our Cancer Center and its leaders and help establish impactful initiatives that improve and enhance cancer care for our communities.
Established in April 2024, our CAB informs our outreach and programmatic efforts, ensures that our research reflects the needs of our community, and collaborates with us to achieve our goal of reducing the impact and burden of cancer in our region.
Assisting with
- Building partnerships to amplify the work already being done in our region so that together we can make a difference and strengthen our reach to our growing communities.
- Connecting community members and community organizations directly to researchers and clinicians at our Cancer Center.
- Reviewing clinical trials and helping teach the community about trials.
- Increasing the quality and quantity of accessible patient-centered cancer care.
The CAB is a link between our catchment area and our Cancer Center.
Together, we work to meaningfully engage our communities and better address the cancer-related challenges in our region.
