Graduate Certificate in Clinical & Translational Research
Program Summary
The Certificate is a 12-credit hour program designed to provide an introduction to clinical and translational research. Most classes can be completed in one 6-week summer session or one academic year.
Qualified applicants include:
- Fellows and junior faculty interested in collaborating in research, or fellows/junior faculty just launching their career as clinical/translational researchers
- Health science students in the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences
- Basic science researchers crossing over into clinical translation
- Residents
- Post-doctoral fellows
- Health science professionals

Online Summer Session Information
Trainees may begin the graduate certificate in any term. Most trainees begin the program by enrolling in the Summer session from mid-June to early August. All courses are offered online in the Summer term.
