Upcoming Trainees' Research Day: 6-13-23

We are looking forward to Trainees' Research Day next Tuesday 6/13. Ira Goldberg, MD, NYU (photo left) will present “Postprandial Lipemia, Chylomicrons and CVD” at noon in Medical Sciences Building E-351. The post-doctoral talks (10-11:30), graduate student talks (3- 4:30), and awards (5:00) are all in MSB E-351. The poster session is in the CARE Atrium (1:30-3).

Dr. Wohleb interviewed on WVXU!

Eric Wohleb, PhD (pictured left) was interviewed by WVXU's Ann Thompson about his collaboration with Dr. Andrew Jones (Miami University) and their plans to test derivatives of psychedelic drugs on mouse models of mental illness.  Have a listen.

Jean-Pierre Amoakon, Kairavee Thakkar, Corbin Azucenas, and Sobuj Mia, MD were winners (2nd-4th, 5th in above photo) at our Trainees' Research Day. We enjoyed the oral and poster presentations of 32 postdocs/predocs.  Dr. Ira J. Goldberg (NYU, 7th) delivered the Keynote Lecture. Dr. Jim Herman (5th) delivered the State of the Dept Report.  Thanks to Dr. Drosatos (1st) and his committee for organizing this wonderful event.
