Dr. Soma Sengupta MD PhD of the UC COM Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine, Harold C. Schott Endowed Chair of Molecular Therapeutics, and Associate Dean, Dr. Claudia Rebola PhD of the UC College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), have developed an App to deliver music therapy for patients who are affected by chemobrain. They are currently beta-testing the App, known as ARMCAN since they wish to counteract persistent declines in memory or other brain functions following chemotherapy.
Their collaborators include neurocognitive neurology's, Dr. R. Shatz DO of the UC COM Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine, and Dr. A. Mahammdi, Assistant Professor in Neuroradiology. Yehudit Rothman PA, for neuro-oncology and cancer survivorship, will be carrying out the study.
