Han Tong will defend his dissertation, “Brain mechanisms of pain processing in healthy adolescents and adolescents with juvenile fibromyalgia,” on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 9:00 am via Zoom.
Sam Woodburn will defend his dissertation, "Microglia in chronic stress and rapid-acting antidepressant treatment," on Thursday, July 5, in the Reading Campus Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Cindy Cohen will defend her dissertation, "Targeting nociceptors and transient receptor potential channels for the treatment of migraine," on Wednesday, July 27, at 1:00 pm in the Medical Sciences Building, Room 3351. The event is free and open to the public.
Alicia Bedolla and Shelby Hetzer were each awarded an Albert J. Ryan Fellowship, a two-year award for graduate students with strong academic achievement and research potential.
2022 Cincy Neuroscience Retreat
This year's retreat was a joint effort between the NGP, the Mind, Brain, and Behavior Collaborative, and the Center for Pediatric Neuroscience. This is Hueston Woods in College Corner, OH. The weather wasn't especially cooperative, but we got a good family portrait just the same!
