The physicians in our section are committed to excellence in clinical care, education and research in diseases of the gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) systems.
The abdominal imaging faculty delivers consistent excellence in diagnostic imaging procedures of the abdomen and pelvis clinical services at:
- University of Cincinnati Medical Center
- Medical Arts Building
- Varsity Village Imaging Center
- University Pointe Imaging Center
- Drake Center
- Cincinnati Veterans Administration Medical Center
- GI and GU fluoroscopy (such as barium enema and voiding cystourethrography)
- Computed tomography (CT)
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
The members of the division are engaged participants in all department teaching activities, both at the medical student and resident/fellow levels. The Division is actively involved in the research of disorders of the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tract.
Fellowship Program in Body Imaging
The Department of Radiology offers flexible one-year post-graduate fellowship programs in Body Imaging. The fellowship is available to Board-certified or Board eligible radiologists who have completed an accredited radiology residency. The fellowship is not accredited. The fellows are employed by UC Physicians, are credentialed as faculty at University Hospital, and hold the title of Volunteer Clinical Instructor in the UC College of Medicine.
