All fellow candidates must have completed an ACGME/RCPSC accredited residency training program. Our program will accept applicants with residency training in neurology, emergency medicine, neurosurgery, internal medicine, anesthesia, or surgery. Other specialties will be considered on an individual basis. There are up to 2 regular positions offered each year, in addition to our T32 NCC fellowship track. Our program participates in the SF Match Central Application Service.
Unique to the UC program, we have an available NIH-sponsored, T32 training grant in Neurocritical Care available to qualified applicants. The program is 3 years in total and culminates with graduation from the UC Graduate School with a master's degree in Clinical and Translational Science. Applicants with interest are encouraged to contact the program director, Dr. Simona Ferioli (Simona.Ferioli@uc.edu), as soon as possible to discuss the T32 requirements and opportunities.
