Match Day

Match Day is the culmination of four years of medical school when students are matched to a hospital where they will receive their residency training in their desired specialty.

Match Day 2026

WHEN: Friday, March 20, 2026, 12:00pm (EST)

WHERE: Medical Sciences Building (MSB), Kresge Auditorium (E-701)

Overflow room with livestream viewing: MSB E-351

Parking Options:

• Eden Garage, 3223 Eden Avenue (Visitor Parking on Levels 7 & 8)
• Kingsgate Garage, 151 Goodman Drive
• Parking costs for students and their guests are not covered.

Seating:

• Kresge Auditorium doors will open at 10:00am
• General admission (available on a first come first serve basis)

Photography:

• UCCOM has hired a photographer for this ceremony.
• The photos taken during Match Day will be made available to students at no charge after the ceremony.
• A drop-box link will be sent out and students and their families are welcome to download the photos they want at no cost. Please wait at least two weeks before reaching out to ask about the availability of the photos

Schedule:

• 11:30AM Class photo on CARE/Crawley steps (will be moved to CARE atrium in case of inclement weather)
• 12:00PM Envelopes ready for pick up in Kresge Lobby
• 12:05PM Ceremony begins in Kresge Auditorium
• 2:00PM Approximate End Time
