The Musculoskeletal Fellowship Program is a one-year, non-accredited subspecialty training program that admits two fellows per year. The program is in the process of applying for accreditation.
The Musculoskeletal fellowship is committed to integrating high academic and professional competency standards into a comprehensive training curriculum applicable to a future career in either academic or private practice radiology.
The objectives of our Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship are to
Our goal is to train highly competent and qualified radiology subspecialists in musculoskeletal radiology who will support patient care as effective members of the clinical care team with strong interpretive skills, knowledge of appropriate diagnostic radiology tools and cost effective resource utilization.
We develop collegial relationships with our referring clinicians in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and Rheumatology, and have an integral relationship with the UC Athletics Department, being involved in direct care of our student athletes.
Our continuous increase in MRI volume, as well as our growing therapeutic and diagnostic ultrasound practice has allowed for the increase to two fellows per year.
We enjoy a friendly work environment and have various MSK division social events including barbecues, pool parties, and impromptu get-togethers. We are a close knit section and look forward to working with new fellows, creating rewarding, long lasting relationships.
