Identification of causal factors underlying cognitive deficits in a mouse model of childhood leukemia survival

Experiments in this proposal will use a mouse model of cancer plus chemotherapy in early life to better  understand how the brain is negatively affected, and to start to identify new therapies to improve cognitive side effects in childhood cancer survivors.

scRNAseq to identify mechanisms of cognitive deficits in ALL survivors

In this grant scRNA seq will be used to determine whether methyl donor supplementation during chemotherapy can protect against the cellular and molecular changes in the brain of leukemia survivors using a novel mouse model.
