Curriculum/Schedule

The fellow will spend most of his/her clinical time with our neuro-immunology/MS specialists. The fellow will also spend time in clinic with sub-specialists including neuro-urology, neuro-ophthalmology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, Rheumatology and Sarcoidosis.

Our division also holds a bi-monthly journal club with our physician faculty, nurse practitioner, rotating residents and ancillary staff. The fellow is expected to present at these lectures. There is also a bi-monthly “Case Conference” series to discuss complex cases seen in our clinics or hospital. Departmental Grand Rounds are held every Wednesday afternoon with topics that include a variety of neurologic topics. The fellow may be asked to lecture to residents during the academic year as well. Attendance at national conferences such as CMSC, ACTRIMS, ECTRIMS and AAN is encouraged. When feasible, sponsorship is sought for these activities utilizing educational funds and/or donations. Fellows are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster or platform presentation at these meetings.
