Welcome to the University of Cincinnati Hospital Medicine Program. Our team of approximately 200 + faculty, advanced practice providers, and staff are dedicated to inpatient general medicine, teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities - all centered on inpatient care and the advancement of hospital medicine and the hospitalist career.

Our clinical programs include University of Cincinnati Main Hospital, Ridgeway Medical Center observation and long-stay, UC Blood Cancer Center, Westchester Hospital, and Drake skilled nursing and inpatient rehab. Our team also spans across multiple outpatient tradition practices including our General Internal Medicine practice at Hoxworth and our Primary Care Network with multiple locations throughout Cincinnati and lastly our inpatient psychiatric groups, Lindner Center of Hope. University of Cincinnati College of MedicineUC Health University HospitalUC Health Primary Care Network (PCN)Cincinnati Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Transitional Medicine is also the future of medicine here at UCMC.  Our goal is to make sure the needs of our community, which includes our underserviced populations and our growing number of patients shifting from Children’s’ Hospital to the University of Cincinnati are met and barriers to primary health care needs are overcome and replaced with quality, equitable and culturally competent care.
