About the Program

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and the nationally ranked Carl H. Lindner College of Business have developed a MD/MBA Dual Degree Program for those students who wish to expand their career opportunities.

The MD/MBA program is designed for highly qualified students who desire to complement their standard medical education with a greater understanding of the economics, finance, marketing and management of the health care system.

Students apply to the program during their second or third year of medical school.

Graduates of the program have expanded career options including management positions in major health care organizations.
