Research/Clinical Interests

The Monaco lab is interesting in defining the mechanisms involved in display of foreign antigens bound to MHC Class I molecules. The information gleaned will aid in the identification of T cell epitopes in infectious and in autoimmune disease and may ultimately improve vaccine design.
