Research Overview
UCGNI provides its faculty and fellows with the tools and resources to conduct impactful research. We seek to optimize today’s therapies, while developing safer, more successful alternatives for tomorrow.
Our UC Neurobiology Research Center fosters collaborative research within the Institute’s programs and centers and serves as a driving force for the integration of clinical and basic science research programs. The Center also coordinates and awards numerous pilot grants each year to further developing research that has the potential to achieve larger grant funding in the future.
