Social Determinant of Health Focus

Through our research with the Jimmy Heath House (of OTRCH), we explored how effectively the Housing First model addresses social determinants of health, mainly focusing on access to care. Overall, OTRCH Housing First approach bridges many of the gaps the homeless population experience gaining access to healthcare.
