An important social determinant of health impacting the unhoused population in Over-the-Rhine is lack of adequate access to public sanitation and hygiene facilities, specifically restrooms. This limited access creates significant public health risks, including increased transmission of infectious diseases, while also contributing to poor mental well-being among community members. Our Daily Bread identified restroom access as a major unmet need, which our joint efforts aim to address.
