Directors' Welcome

Our goal in the Outcomes Research Fellowship is to train the outcomes, clinical, and translational researchers of the future. As such, our 2-year fellowship is designed to provide didactic coursework in clinical and translational research and mentored research opportunities to general internists or specialists seeking careers in academic settings. Fellows get to work in multidisciplinary teams in those areas that are most interesting to them. Although most of their efforts are devoted to conducting research and taking classes, fellows are also offered sufficient clinical experiences to maintain their clinical skills and generate ideas for their research.

With the numerous changes in health care taking place now and certainly in the future, a career in outcomes research is not only stimulating but also rewarding. We hope that you consider our Outcomes Research Fellowship and a career as an outcomes researcher!
