Who should apply?

The Quality and Safety fellowship position will be open to residents and fellows on completion of required residency or subspecialty fellowship training requirements. An open competition will be conducted in the fall of each year. A selection panel will determine the candidacy based on overall quality of the candidate.

When should I apply?

Applications are accepted through October to begin the fellowship in July. Please include the following in your application:

• Curriculum Vitae
• Personal Statement
• Letter from Residency Program Director for current residents, Fellowship Program Director for current fellows, or most recent Fellowship or Residency Program Director for current faculty
• A one page description of a QI/PS project idea(s). The project description should include the identification of the problem, improvement goals, general description of implementation strategy, and assessment of outcome. What are the interview dates?

After review of the applications, candidates will be invited to interview. The interviews will be held in October and November.
