Social determinant of health is access to healthcare. Xylazine is veterinary sedative which is being added to the drug illicit supply. Access to xylazine testing strips (similar to fentanyl) would boost public health outcomes for our most vulnerable populations. We seek to promote the legalization of xylazine testing materials which are currently considered drug paraphernalia.
