Dr. Yanbo Fan, Associate Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology, has been awarded an administrative supplement to an R01 grant from National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health. The grant entitled “CCDC92 and Cardiovascular Disease" is part of a program to stimulate the field of Alzheimer’s disease, and aims to accelerate the discovery of fundamental mechanisms, providing potential new therapeutic avenues for Alzheimer's disease.
