The first Monday of each month, experts from the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Cincinnati will lead a special Shinrin-Yoku (Forest Bathing) experience during our walk.

A practice originating in Japan, shinrin (“forest”) yoku (“bath”) means bathing in the forest atmosphere or taking in the forest through our senses. It is simply being in nature, connecting with it through our senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. Barbara Walker, PhD, and Kelly Lyle, MHA, MS, from the Osher Center are certified INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guides and will teach you skills to enhance your experience & well-being, including stronger immune system, lower blood pressure, decreased cortisol levels, improved mood, better sleep, and increase vigor, focus, & energy.
