Program Facilities

The majority of our faculty and students conduct their research and classroom activities on the Academic Health Center Medical Campus.

Many laboratories and associated research facilities are housed within the Medical Science Building (MSB) and the adjacent Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center as well as the Vontz Center for Molecular StudiesUniversity of Cincinnati Medical Center, and the stunning new CARE/Crawley building.

Other facilities are available on the Main Campus including the Engineering Research Center (ERC) and Department of Chemistry (Crosley Tower) as well as at the beautiful Reading Campus, located seven miles north of main campus.

Administrative offices for the program are housed within the College of Medicine's Medical Sciences Building.

The Medical Sciences Building (MSB), built in 1974, has long been home to UC's College of Medicine. The MSB houses College of Medicine laboratories and office and classroom space as well as Kresge Auditiorum. The medical bookstore and Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library span the space between the MSB and the CARE/Crawley Building.

Several program laboratories are in the CARE/Crawley Building.  Completed in 2008, the CARE/Crawley Building is the newest building on the medical campus and one of the "greenest" science buildings in the nation.

Many of our program faculty house their research programs at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.  Cincinnati Children's is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in the treatment and research of pediatric and adolescent diseases. As a result, this institution draws patients from all over the United States and over 30 countries each year who need its specialized care.
