Molgen Graduate Student Awards

Each year the Department of Molecular Genetics distributes awards for exemplary performance in Graduate Studies.

The Student Academic Excellence Award is given annually to a student in their 2nd year who achieved the highest GPA in their academic coursework.

The Excellence in Research Award is given annually to a Student in their 5th year who has excelled in their research during their time in the Department and made exemplary contributions to their chosen field.  

The University of Cincinnati Graduate Student Association and the College of Medicine award numerous additional awards that can be used to supplement stipends, provide travel to scientific meetings, and augment research dollars.
