With over 37 years of nursing experience, primarily focused on behavioral health and leadership, Lisa leads her team at the Freeman Center with passion and dedication. She is deeply committed to serving underserved and vulnerable populations and fully embraces the Freeman Center’s mission, vision, and core values.
At this stage in her career, Lisa prioritizes equipping the next generation of caregivers to meet the evolving needs of those they serve. She encourages a perspective that looks beyond oneself and recognizes the profound impact caregivers have on others. Lisa champions values such as transparency, authenticity, flexibility, humility, tenacity, generosity, and mutual respect.
Outside of work, Lisa is a devoted wife and mother to three adult sons, grandmother to three grandsons and one granddaughter. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, entertaining, traveling, exploring music of all kinds, and watching Reds baseball with her husband.
Jensine’ Clark, MD
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Lead, Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine
Jensine' Clark, MD received her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville Tn and completed Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at the University of Cincinnati. She then completed Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital.
Jensine’ Clark, MD, subspecializes in pediatric rehabilitation medicine and spasticity management. She enjoys helping patients and families tackle transition issues that include regaining independence and social integration within their communities. Specializing in spasticity management also allows her to help patients maintain and increase function in their daily lives. Her training in both physical medicine and rehabilitation and pediatric rehabilitation allows her the opportunity to see patients across their lifespan.
Dr. Clark has been involved in patient-centered research for patients with disabilities and was awarded the Baylor Center of Excellence in Health Equity, Training and Research Summer Research Summit Award. This opportunity allowed her to work with other minority researchers in a challenging yet supportive environment.
Outside of her clinical schedule, her current research interests include assessing and developing best practices for patients who are transitioning from the pediatric to adult healthcare setting, as well as interested in improving health equity and outcomes for patients with disabilities.
Kyle Boyd, DDS
Dental
Kyle Boyd, DDS is the Director of the University of Cincinnati Dental Center. Dr. Boyd completed his undergraduate education at The Ohio State University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He then pursued advanced training in general dentistry through the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the University of Cincinnati
Dr. Boyd’s professional interests include sports dentistry and providing dental care for patients with complex needs who may not have access to care elsewhere. In his role at the UC Dental Center, Dr. Boyd is committed to expanding access to comprehensive dental services and supporting dental education and training for the next generation of providers.
