Fueling breakthroughs for heart health: The UCCCR leads with innovation, collaboration, and excellence, driving impactful advancements in cardiovascular care.

Support advancements in cardiovascular research, education and training at the UC College of Medicine.

Goals:

• Drive investments to support pilot research funding to support projects that have strong likelihood to attract larger NIH grant funding.
• Serve as a hub for all cardiovascular research being conducted at the University of Cincinnati and work collaboratively across institutes like UCGNI and UCCC and Cincinnati Children's Heart Institute.
• Build upon four primary areas of cardiovascular research strength at UC: Myocardial Infarction, cardiac fibrosis, cardiac inflammation, and genetic heart disease.
