Center for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Recovery
About Our Program
The HLVI Center for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Recovery serves the community through practical programs to achieve and maintain health and assist patients in their efforts to regain optimal health following an illness, intervention or surgery. A multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, exercise physiologists, dieticians and pharmacists develops personalized plans and educational programs to help patients and their families learn about healthy lifestyle choices that support heart, lung and vascular health. The Center utilizes technologies such as telemedicine, which employs devices such as smartphone apps to assist in patient education and inspiration. The Center draws on expertise from across the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and College of Nursing, as well as the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
