Kiersten Woodyard De Brito, MD-MPH candidate, in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences at the College of Medicine is appointed to the Council on Science and Public Health.  "I am deeply honored to be appointed" says Kiersten.  

The main functions of the Council on Science and Public Health (CSAPH) are to advise The American Medical Association on substantial and promising developments, and to assist in developing policy positions, on scientific aspects of medicine, public health, and biomedical research that warrant the attention of the profession, the public, and the public/private sector.
