Environmental Medicine Clinical Care

UC Health Occupational and Environmental Medicine physicians are expert physicians who are board-certified in occupational medicine. Our physicians have extensive experience in evaluating and treating employees and community members with various types of occupational and environmental disorders.
They provide medical evaluations ranging from pre-placement medical screening examinations to complex independent medical evaluations and medical impairment examinations. In addition, our physicians are trained in occupational pulmonary disorders, neurotoxicity, and ergonomics as well as disability and impairment, return to work evaluations, workplace accommodation issues and independent medical evaluations.

Consultative Services for Occupational and Environmental Medicine

Our expert physicians are often called on by corporations, healthcare organizations and legal entities to help them navigate through the complexities of environmental and occupational medicine. With their unique training, experience and knowledge, they are able to consult on various workplace health issues and regulations, such as OSHA, the Americans with Disabilities Act and worker’s compensation injuries, as well as environmental medicine issues.
