Requirements to Waive Student Health Insurance

In order to waive the Student Health Insurance Plan you must confirm the following:

  • I will be actively enrolled in my current Health Insurance Plan the entire time for which I am enrolled in classes.
  • My insurance is through a U.S. based insurance company, employing a U.S. based claims administrator.Below is a list of insurance carriers that are not acceptable to waive out of the University of Cincinnati Student Health Insurance Plan with.Please be advised, this is NOT a complete list.
