Work Hours and Salary

Work Hours and Call Frequency

Work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, unless otherwise dictated by duty assignments. The Program Director monitors duty hours and the program adheres to the ACGME-approved guidelines for duty hours. Under no circumstances will a resident exceed the duty hour work limit.

Residents take call a week at a time from home, 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. The responsibility for being on call is divided equally by the residents. Call is always shared with an attending physician for guidance. A therapist, a physicist and a dosimetrist are scheduled on call as well.
