The Addiction Sciences Division and the Cincinnati VAMC offer two addiction-specialty fellowship training programs. One is a one-year ACGME-accredited Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship (two positions) that prepares the candidate for Added Qualifications in Addiction Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. The other is a two-year VA Addiction Medicine Research Fellowship (one position) that is open to physicians (research or clinical) from varied backgrounds and prepares the candidate for Certification in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
