About the Program

Pathways to Health Careers is a series of programs offered through the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine that enhance students’ understanding of the various factors that influence success in a health career.

The programs also expose students to the clinical, didactic, and research aspects of medicine and related fields and provide insight into the unique challenges that health care professionals face on a daily basis and in their on-going pace of life.

Beginning as young as third grade and continuing into high school and college, Pathways programs provide students a head-start toward becoming doctors, researchers, scientists and other health professionals.
