The Way We Learn
A significant body of evidence shows that what you learn in residency you will do for the next 20-30 years.
We do not take this responsibility lightly. It is our core duty to create learning environments that help you learn the right things in the right way.
Our core philosophies are these:
1. It is not whether the teacher teaches, but that the learner learns. Our teaching is not effective unless it works for you. We have designed our programs to continually measure and improve this.
2. Education is not the filling of pail, but the lighting of a fire (Yeats). We will not spoon feed you. We will guide, challenge, and support you. You will be active in your learning.
