Categorical Internal Medicine: This is a three-year residency leading to board certification in Internal Medicine.

Medicine Pediatrics: This is a combined four-year program leading to dual eligibility in both medicine and pediatrics.

Preliminary Medicine: This track is designed to build the generalist competencies needed for successful careers in Radiology, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Neurology, PM & R, Ophthalmology and Radiation Oncology.

The Physician Scientist Training Program (PSTP): This is an innovative, American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)-approved, research-based residency program for training high quality physician scientists. The goal of the program is to train ABIM-eligible internists and subspecialists who are able to initiate and sustain independently funded research programs while remaining clinically active. Residents typically spend two years training in Internal Medicine, one to three years in fellowship training and two to three years in the laboratory or conducting clinical subspecialty research.
